Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Wedding Videographer & Cinematographer who can capture weddings with a cinematic storytelling approach, ensuring high-quality visuals, clean audio, and consistency with our brand’s production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture weddings in a cinematic, documentary, and storytelling style
- Record footage in 4K resolution (up to 60fps) with proper exposure, color, and composition
- Execute smooth camera movements using gimbal/stabilizer and handheld techniques
- Capture high-quality audio (DJ feed, lav mics, ambient sound)
- Set up and operate tripods for ceremonies, speeches, and stable shots
- Coordinate with photographers and team members for seamless coverage
- Follow shot lists while adapting creatively in real-time
- Maintain professionalism with clients and guests
- Handle full-day wedding coverage (typically 5–10+ hours)
Equipment Requirements (Mandatory)
Applicants must own and operate professional video gear, including:
- Minimum 2 full-frame camera bodies
- Example: Sony A7 IV (A74), A7SIII, FX3 or equivalent
- Must support 4K recording (up to 60fps) and 10-bit color profiles (S-Log / S-Cinetone preferred)
- Lens Kit (2–3 lenses minimum):
- At least one prime lens (e.g., 35mm / 50mm / 85mm for cinematic depth)
- At least one versatile zoom lens (e.g., 24–70mm or 28–70mm)
- Preferred: Sony G Master, Sigma Art, or equivalent professional lenses
- Stabilization & Support Gear:
- Gimbal / stabilizer (REQUIRED)
- Tripod (REQUIRED)
- Audio Equipment (REQUIRED):
- External audio recorder (e.g., Zoom / Tascam)
- Lav microphones (for groom/speeches)
- Ability to take DJ/soundboard feed
- Sufficient memory cards, batteries, and backup storage
Requirements
- Proven experience in wedding videography / cinematography (REQUIRED)
- Strong portfolio showcasing cinematic storytelling and consistency
- Ability to work long event hours in fast-paced environments
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and client-facing professionalism
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with South Asian weddings (baraat, nikah, reception, etc.)
- Experience with multi-day wedding events
- Basic editing knowledge (Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro)
